Change of Name/Address
HOW DO I CHANGE MY ADDRESS?
- On the back of your precinct card, sign and mail
- At the Board of Elections Office, Public Libraries, City Halls, and Houston County Commissioners Office complete a new registration application
- Download an application from the Secretary of State's website, complete, sign and mail
PLEASE NOTE: All registrations and changes must have signature. Changes without signatures will be delayed.
HOW DO I CHANGE MY NAME?
You must fill out a new registration application showing your new and old name. An application may be obtained from the Board of Elections Office, Public Libraries and City Halls or an application may be downloaded from the Secretary of State's website or completed online.
PLEASE NOTE: No change of name will be processed without a signature or if done on the back of a precinct card.
All changes must be received and/or postmarked by the US Postal Service on or before the 5th Monday prior to an election.
